The Landolt Periosteal Elevator offers a wide array of surgical benefits. These benefits come in handy to perform orthopedic surgeries where bone repairing is necessary.
For this purpose, the device features a flat, curved tip with a semi-sharp cutting edge. Moreover, surgeons can perform small incisions, cut and retract the periosteum in order to reveal the bony tissue. After that, surgeons can harvest bone grafting or reshape bone structures.
