Description
The O’Connell Periosteal Elevator offers a wide set of advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages play a vital role in procedures that require bone harvesting, division, and reshaping.
For instance, the elevator features a double-ended profile with two spatula-shaped tips. Moreover, both spatulas taper into a round tip, and one of them has a 90° angle at its terminal portion. As a result, surgeons can lift periosteum with ease and perform clean cuts to the tissue with the semi-sharp edges.
In addition, the device comes with a solid handle with a smooth surface. This design is convenient for reducing fatigue during lengthy procedures.
