Description
The Caspar Periosteal Elevator offers a broad range of surgical advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages are especially useful during osteotomies and fractures repairing procedures.
Firstly, the elevator comes with a flat tip with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the tip has a slight curve, and surgeons take advantage of this outline for dissecting periosteum in narrow cavities. As a result, the operator is able to expose delicate and large bone surfaces.
Secondly, the device features a hollow handle with three vertical grooves and a finger grip. This design is ideal to minimize finger strain and reduce the risk of slippage.
