Xelpov’s Cushing Periosteal Elevator is a specialized ENT and plastic surgery device that surgeons can use for lifting, retracting and dissecting the hard periosteum tissue, in order to expose its underlying nasal or cranial bone structure.

The Cushing Periosteal Elevator offers a broad range of surgical benefits for ENT surgeons. These benefits come in handy for performing nasal reconstructive surgeries.
For instance, the elevator comes with an atraumatic, flat tip with a round cutting edge. Moreover, the tip has a slight curve for accessing narrow spaces with ease. Also, the working end is available in multiple sizes, ranging from 4.0 to 7.0mm. This last feature helps surgeons in dissecting periosteal flaps from delicate bones.
In addition, the device features a hollow handle with a single groove. Surgeons can press their thumbs against the groove for exerting strong pressure.
