The Cuticle Cutter features a wide assortment of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to bite off the cuticle and skin during podiatric outpatient surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of inwardly curved blades that conform to the contour of the nail. In addition, each jaw has a delicate sharp cutting edge designed to trim connective tissue with precision.
Moreover, the Cuticle Cutter features a plier grip style handle that prevents finger strain and slippage. Furthermore, the handle includes a spring mechanism between the stems that helps to close the jaws with smooth movements.
