DeBakey Rib Spreader
The Xelpov’s DeBakey Rib Spreader is a specialized surgical instrument frequently used during cardiovascular and trauma surgeries. It is used after a thoracotomy, inserted between the ribs and spread to achieve the desired space. This helps increase the surgical view and surgical access for the manipulation of internal organs.

Our DeBakey Rib Spreader includes special hook-like blades for secure retraction.
Secures and retracts adjacent ribs for better access to internal organs during surgery.
Especially includes 3 pairs of detachable blades to adapt to the shape of the ribs. Each lateral blade has curved edges to prevent slippage.
The retracting forceps have smooth outer edges to prevent soft tissue damage.
The instrument has an ergonomic design and lightweight to ensure comfortable handling. Moreover, it comes with a screw lock to decrease user fatigue.
The DeBakey Rib Spreader is available in multiple working end sizes to suit different anatomical needs.
Made in premium quality aluminum with a satin or mirror finish. The instrument can be sterilized for reuse during multiple surgeries.
