Draffin Bipod Rods
Xelpov’s Draffin Bipod Rod is a specialized tool that dentists, ENT and maxillofacial surgeons use to hold the Davis-Boyle Mouth Gag in a firm position, especially during surgeries that require exposure of the oral cavity and other structures.
- Fenestrated Rods for Setting the Mouth Gag in Position.
- 48.0cm Overall Length for Enhanced Sightlines.
- Perforated Plate for Safely Supporting the Rods.
The Draffin Bipod Rod offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide a secure method to hold the Davis-Boyle Mouth Gag in place, thereby exposing the oropharynx and other structures.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of slim rods with four circular fenestrations. Furthermore, surgeons can cross the terminal holes and fixate the Davis-Boyle Mouth Gag’s base. After that, the operator can open the mouth with the gag.
Moreover, the Draffin Bipod Rod features a base plate with small perforations for inserting the rods. The plate is ideal to set the rods at a triangular position and enable surgeons to converge the terminal holes.
