Xelpov’s Fickling Nail Elevator is a specialized podiatric and chiropody device that the operator uses for elevating the ingrown portion of a diseased nail, in order to extract it from the nail bed.

The Fickling Nail Elevator offers a wide assortment of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to atraumatically lift diseased toenails for their further removal from the toe.
For this purpose, the instrument features a spatula-shaped tip with blunt edges that minimize damage to surrounding tissues. In addition, the tip is available in wide and narrow profiles to accommodate a variety of toenails.
Moreover, the Fickling Nail Elevator features a solid handle with horizontal ridges that prevent slippage. Also, the handle’s flat outline is useful to manipulate de instrument in different angles.
