Description

The Fixation Hook offers a broad range of benefits for the ophthalmic surgical staff. These benefits are important to retract and fixate tissues during procedures where the surgical field needs maximum exposure.

To this end, the instrument features two sharp, curved prongs. Moreover, the pointy ends of each prong allow atraumatic fixation onto skin folds and muscles. As a result, surgeons can pull back the tissues in the desired direction, thereby gaining a clear view of the intraocular contents.

In addition, the device features a straight, tapering shank. Also, the shank has a resilient profile that improves surgical precision and grants access into narrow spaces.
