Xelpov’s Sachs Dura Elevator is a specialized device that neurosurgeons can use for accessing the intracranial space and detach the dura membrane, in order to elevate it and unveil the surgical field.
- Curved Flat Blade for Sliding Underneath into the Skull.
- Sharp Edges Ensuring Secure Cuts.
- Ergonomic Hollow Handle Ensuring Maximum Control.
The Sachs Dura Elevator offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to detach the cranial dura from the skull’s inner surface and then lift it to expose the brain parenchyma.
For this purpose, the instrument features a curved, oval blade that adapts to the cranial curvatures with ease. In addition, the blade has a semi-sharp edge that ensures atraumatic cutting and less damage to local blood vessels.
Moreover, the Sachs Dura Elevator features a hollow handle with longitudinal grooves that enhance gripping. As a result, surgeons can prevent instrument slippage and finger strain during lengthy procedures.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
