Scalp-Contour Self Retaining Retractor
The Xelpov’s Scalp-Contour Self Retaining Retractor is a special surgical instrument commonly used in general surgery, neurosurgery as well as cardiovascular procedures. It helps to retract small to medium length incisions to give access to deeper tissues while minimizing inadvertent soft tissue damage.
- Hooked Jaws For Better Grip On Dissected Edges
- Atraumatic Design To Protect Soft Tissues
- Ergonomic Finger Ring Handles For Better Control
Our Scalp-Contour Self Retaining Retractor comes with special blunt working end that is ideal for prying open wound edges during dissection.
Secures wound edges and incision planes and gently pulls them apart to visualize the tissue underneath.
Especially includes 3 by 4 prongs which give the instrument better grip on the tissues and prevents slippage. Moreover, the prongs have an outwards curve to hook onto the dissected tissue for a secure grip. The instrument is available with sharp and blunt prongs to suit different dissection needs.
Also includes angled jaws which contour to the curves of the dissection plane for better access to the tissues underneath.
In addition, the retracting forceps includes ergonomic finger ring handles for superior control.
The instrument has a smooth design and light weight to ensure comfortable handling. Moreover, the ratchet lock gives it its self retaining property and decreases user fatigue during procedures.
The Scalp-Contour Self Retaining Retractor is available with an overall length of 13.5 cm which is ideal for retracting most superficial wounds.
Made in premium quality stainless steel with satin finish to reduce glare. The instrument can be sterilized and reused.
