The Schocket Scleral Depressor offers a reliable way to localize retinal holes during retinal detachment procedures. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to depress the scleral tissue.
For this purpose, the instrument features a double-ended profile that ensures versatile manipulation. One tip has a standard probe-like, blunt design for pressing the sclera down and marking the tissue. The opposite tip, otherwise, features a hammer-shaped small tip, which helps to mark deep scleral zones.
Moreover, the Schocket Scleral Depressor features an ergonomically designed handle with a square-shaped profile. This particular design ensures enhanced gripping and prevent slippage during lengthy procedures.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
