The Thomas-Gaylor Uterine Biopsy Forceps is a scissor-like, grasping instrument that offers various benefits. Its principal use is to harvest biopsy specimens from the cervix and uterus.
For this purpose, the forceps features a circular punch tip that is ideal to excise the tissue sample with precision. Also, the upper jaw has a pin that efficiently holds the specimen in place during removal.
Moreover, the Thomas-Gaylor Uterine Biopsy Forceps features angled shafts that connect the boxlock to the finger rings. In addition, the finger rings provide a stable grip and the boxlock permits to close the tips against each other with a smooth movement.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
