The Tobold Tongue Depressor offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its main intention is to provide a safe method to press down the tongue without causing significative mucosal injury.
For this purpose, the instrument features an L-shaped blade that accommodates to the contour of the jawbone. In addition, the blade has inner serrations that gently face the tongue tissue, providing strong fixation.
Moreover, the Tobold Tongue Depressor features a hollow handle with longitudinal grooves that enhance gripping. Furthermore, the upper portion of the handle has finger depressions for preventing slippage and fatigue.
