Toennis Dura Dissector
Xelpov’s Toennis Dura Dissector is a specialized instrument that neurosurgeons can use for accessing the intracranial space and dissect the dura’s fibrous tissue, in order to detach it from the skull.
- Double-Ended Profile Suitable for Multiple Approaces.
- Sharp-Edged Blades Promoting Atraumatic Dissection.
- Ergonomic Solid Handle Ensuring Maximum Control.
The Toennis Dura Dissector offers multiple surgical benefits. Its principal use is to atraumatically separate the dura from the skull in order to gain access to the brain parenchyma.
For this purpose, the instrument features a double-ended profile with differently shaped blades to perform different cuts. For example, one blade has a thinner design, which allows for more delicate cuts. The wider blade, otherwise, permits cutting large areas of cranial dura.
Moreover, the Toennis Dura Dissector features a solid, flat handle with horizontal serrations. Its particular slim outline ensures exceptional gripping and reduces finger strain during lengthy procedures.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
