Description

The Vollmar Vessel Irrigation Cannula offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to inject solutions, with commonly contain heparin, into thrombosed blood vessels.

For this purpose, the instrument features a curved, hollow tube with a ball guard to dilate the lumen of the vessel. In addition, the device is available from 1.5 to 4.0mm diameter sizes to fit vessels of different gauges. Also, the blunt profile of the tip helps to prevent endothelial damage.

Moreover, the Vollmar Vessel Irrigation Cannula features a bottom Luer lock connection. Surgeons can connect the Luer hub with an irrigation system to inject saline solutions through the vessel.
