Xelpov’s Steinhauser Zygomatic Retractor is a specialized device that maxillofacial surgeons use to retract the tissues that envelop the zygomatic arch, including muscles and mucoperiosteal flaps, with the purpose of enhancing the surgical view.

The Steinhauser Zygomatic Retractor offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to retract facial soft tissues to expose the zygomatic bone during facial reconstruction.
For this purpose, the instrument features an L-shaped blade with a concave curve that adapts to the zygomatic arch. In addition, the U-shaped edge is laterally asymmetric to retract tissues with comfort. As a result, left-sided and right-sided profiles ensure optimal manipulation on each side of the face.
Moreover, the Steinhauser Zygomatic Retractor features an ergonomically design handle with fenestrations. It includes a finger ring and a teardrop hole for inserting fingers and minimize the risk of slippage.
