For example, the elevator comes with a long, flat blade with a semi-sharp cutting edge. Moreover, the blade has a slight curve and has a narrow profile to pass into small incisions. This feature, in conjunction with a slender shank, allows surgeons to access the anterior capsule of the femoral head for its further elevation.
