The Ross Aorta Retractor fulfills a vital role during cardiothoracic surgery. It is one of the favorite instruments for manipulating the aorta artery.
To this end, the retractor comes with a crest-shaped blade that has a concave working surface. The blade has an atraumatic blunt design, preventing accidental puncture and haemorrhage.
